DirectionsLine a plate with parchment paper. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Place in the microwave for 30 second intervals stirring in between each until completely melted. Should take about one minute.
Place the freeze-dried strawberries in a small plastic baggie and seal. Use your hands or the back of a measuring cup to gently crush and grind the freeze-dried strawberries inside the baggie until they reach a fine powder consistency.
Take each pitted date and carefully shape it into a heart shape.
Once all the dates are shaped, carefully dip each date heart into the melted chocolate mixture, ensuring it is fully coated. Use a fork to help coat the dates evenly.
Place the chocolate-coated date hearts onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
Sprinkle the freeze-dried strawberries on top and transfer to the freezer.
Allow the chocolate date hearts to freeze for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm and set. Enjoy!
