Hi! I’m Mckenzi and I am so happy you are here!
Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved being in the kitchen cooking with my grandmas and parents. In high school and college, I was always the girl who fed all her friends and cooked for them! Since then I’ve graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor’s in Business Marketing and attended culinary school at the International Culinary Center in NYC in 2015. After graduating culinary school, I began food styling and recipe developing for The Food Network, freelance styling for commercials, magazines and tv shows and personal cheffing.
Meanwhile, most of my life I have dealt with gut issues and in 2017 I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune disease of the thyroid along with leaky gut. Since then I have healed myself holistically through lifestyle factors and an anti-inflammatory gluten, dairy and refined sugar free diet. I feel the best I ever have and want to share my love for healthy cooking and recipes with you!
